About

Our Story.

The Kandy Box building has been a feature of Cross St, Ryde’s landscape for over a hundred years as a former tobacconists and sweet shop.

Reopened in 2002 by Tracy Dutch and husband Geoff , it’s an Aladdin’s cave of sweets selling everything from old fashioned nostalgic favourites like sherbet lemons and clove drops to teacakes and bonbons and with over 300 varieties to choose from, will please the sweetest of teeth. There are also milkshakes with a myriad of flavours to delight everyone – have your favourite chocolate bar, cake or biscuit made into a fabulous shake to take away.

So, indulge in a little nostalgia and visit the Kandy Box in Ryde or buy your favourites from our online shop.
